Hey there!
I'm so happy you're here! I'm Esther Stoltzfus, the face of Esther S. Photography. I'm 20 years old and still living with my parents and four siblings in central PA where I was born and raised. First and foremost, I love Jesus with all of my heart & strive to live for him every single day, in my everyday life, and my business. He's the reason I am here and I want to glorify him in every aspect of my life! I'm a people person, and I especially love little kids, which is one reason why I love my job so much! It allows me to make new connections and friends that wouldn't get to meet otherwise! I'm so excited to connect with you!
My story
My journey with photography started in 2017 when I borrowed a camera to capture some pictures of a few friends. I knew I had an interest in photography, but it was then that I realized how much I loved it and after a few months, I ended up purchasing my first camera. Between then and my second semester of college I did pictures for a few friends and family as a hobby and an avenue of making a little bit of extra money. Then quarantine happened. We got sent home from campus and everything moved online. I had lots of spare time which gave me the perfect opportunity to learn more about photography and I took full advantage of it! During the three months at home I learned a ton by following other professionals on Instagram and other social media platforms. I made a very spontaneous decision to upgrade my camera and editing software and I'm so happy I did! Less than a week later I completed my first real session, and by that I mean I actually edited all the pictures and got paid for it! I was ecstatic and that's when I knew that this was what I wanted to do. I had to put photography on hold for a few months but after the start of my sophomore year I got right back into it, shooting families and couples, building a community that I am proud to serve!

Fun facts about me:)
1.
I'm completely obsessed with good, strong, iced coffee with some cream and a touch of sugar. Gas stations don’t cut it, keurigs are ok, but I'm pretty faithful to my French press, as well as Starbucks, Dunkin, or any local shop I can support.
2.
Adventures are my jam! I'm a big fan of spur of the moment road trips, beach trip or pretty much anything travel related. I love seeing new sights, and try to visit new states or other cool places at least once a year! My favorite place I've been so far is Arches National Park.
3.
My doggos are my world and I wouldn’t trade the dog mom life for anything! Bella is my Bichon frisé, and I’m also a step mama to my brothers Bichon, Tia.
